The Raging Bull: Underground Racing Gallardo

Underground Racing are a North Carolina-based tuning company specialising in twin-turbo conversions. This is their 1025bhp Gallardo.

Yep. That's 1025 brake horsepowers.

We're not quite sure what to say, if we're honest. The sheer insanity of the concept and the brilliance of the execution has rendered us pretty much speechless.

Sure, it runs on race fuel but from what we understand the Gallardo keeps its 4wd and stability systems - although we'd imagine the ESP is a little overworked. The car runs a standard 6-speed gearbox.

We'd run the car without the rear bodywork, if the law allowed. It's the ultimate in automotive mooning.

2009 Audi RS 6 - Twin Turbo V10, AWD, Coming to the United States!

The 2009 Audi RS6 is among the most beautiful luxury sports cars in the world. In the German horsepower war that is now bordering on ridiculous, Audi has positioned the RS6 against mid-size super luxury sport sedans from BMW M-Power and Mercedes-Benz AMG. Audi's RS line falls somewhere between the BMW ideal, that is to say making complete, well-tuned drivers cars with servicable amounts of power, and the AMG model of outputting as much horsepower as possible, and then trying to surround the AMG dream motors with components that can handle that incredible thrust.

Audi's RS6 Sedan, complementing the Avant, a wagon model that has been released in Europe, has been long awaited by Audi fans worldwide. The 2009 RS6 has styling following Audi's new design direction. All of the German luxury automakers are shifting away from the design fad toward shapely -- if perhaps overstyled -- models in favor of a more simple and clean designs. The RS6 does a performance number on the Audi A6 and S6 models, managing to look refreshingly exciting without screaming, "Hey, look at me, I have money and my car is faster than yours!" 2009 RS6 performance numbers are astounding. The mid-size luxury sedan, which can hardly be called a sleeper but will still surprise many a hardcore tuner at a stoplight fight, runs the 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, according to Audi. Real-world tests are not yet available, but as the RS6 has 580 horsepower on tap from a twin-turbocharged V10 (!!) it is possible that the RS6 will run slightly quicker numbers than Audi admits.

Like nearly all German performance cars, the Audi RS6 is electronically limited to 155 mph, but for those speed buffs who want to utilize the whole force of this sweet V10, Audi offers a performance boosting option for the RS6 that will raise the governer to 174 mph. Read on for the official Audi news release, with all the details on the forthcoming RS6 luxury sport sedan.

2009 Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed

The new Bentley Continental Flying Spur is more comfortable, more refined, and more opportunities for customer personalization. It is the most powerful four door saloon in the world with a V12 twin turbo engine. Which produces 600 hp and 553 lb-ft torque. It goes from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds and has top speed of 195 mph. Which is really not the purpose of this car. The purpose of the car is to ride in style and let everyone know you have money to buy something like. Instead of buying a Ferrari you buy this because you have kids and a wife, meaning you need a car that has more than 2 seats. This car is more than expected when you find out what kind of features the British manufacturer Bentley offers you. Park distance control system with new graphics on infotainment screen, new, follow-to-stop precision radar-based Adaptive Cruise Control with five time-gap settings, new optional full width rear seat with electrically adjustable outboard positions and fixed central seat, and there is just too much to list.

2008 Porsche Cayenne Turbo

The Cayenne Turbo has always been on my good side. It is one of the SUV's that I like best, it comes second on my list after the BMW X5. The 2008 Cayenne has a new design, with a larger but more efficient engine. It feels better and more expensive than the X5, but less sporty. It has a twin-turbocharged 4.8 liter engine that produces 500 horsepower and 516 torque. And goes from a standing start to 60 miles per hour in just 4.9 seconds. Top speed on the test track has been recorded at 171 mph.

2006 Saleen S7 Twin Turbo

Saleen knows all about power. As in S281 Mustangs, N2O Focuses and the S7, America’s first (and still the only) mid-engine exotic supercar. When it went on sale in 2002, the S7 was the only street-legal car in the U.S. with more than 500 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. The media and S7 owners have raved about the car since it first smoked the rear tires in anger. And it has been recognized by numerous automotive magazines as the fastest production car in the world. But during the past three years the automobile marketplace has witnessed an explosion of performance with models from manufacturers including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Chevrolet touting power numbers above the once magic 500 level.

Engine
Power bhp: 750
Torque lb-ft: 700
Type: V8 Twin Turbo
